Ann Claire Avant annclaireavant@hotmail.com Greenwood Commonwealth Greenwood Halloween is my favorite holiday - always has been! Can I make a suggestion? I miss the JayCEES having their haunted house every year that you could walk through and am so glad that you are doing this for everyone to enjoy. The problem is trying to get to your house that night. I know a lot of moms that won't go because there is no parking and it is so congested with cars and people. Have you thought about renting a bigger place to have it where people could walk through easier - maybe charging a small admission fee if you need to to help pay for the rent on some place? I think you would get a bigger response from the community, plus it would give these kids around here something to do besides roll houses with toilet paper. There used to be a building on Carrollton Ave. that was rented out for a haunted house and there are several places on Park Ave. that are empty that you might could see about renting for a couple of days. I just think if you had more adequate parking it would be safer to come and go without trying to dodge all the people on the street and you would have a bigger draw (I know a lot of people come, but it could be even bigger!) for your haunted house. Especially the kids who are in between the ages of trick-or-treating and wanting to get into mischief -this is something they really want to see and do. Please think about it. I work at a church that has a building that you could possibly rent if it is ok'd. Thanks for listening and keep it up!
